At Knot Forgotten Quilts we have been making quilts of all types for over 40 years. Although we have the most fun working to make the coolest T-Shirt blankets to give as gifts, we also enjoy making the Memory quilts.  If you are wondering what the difference between a T-Shirt Quilt and Memory Quilt is, to be frank, a memory quilt is typically made from the clothes of loved ones who have passed on.  T-Shirt Quilts (or blankets) are simply made from a collection of T-Shirts and are popular among all ages - although high school and college students in particular love.   T-shirt quilts are fast becoming "the gift" for graduating seniors. These blankets are the perfect way to showcase your achievements, remember the places you have traveled, the concerts and artists you have seen, and the events you have attended.   The quilts we make at Knot Forgotten Quilts are unique in that they are mosaic style and NOT simply all the same size squares in uniform columns and rows.  Our quilts look amazing, and your satisfaction is guaranteed.   

 

We know the importance of your collection of T-Shirts.   From the time we receive them we take great care to ensure the security of your items.   We design your t-shirt quilt in a mosaic style which makes it look much more interesting than a quilt with all graphics cut the same size.   With a Mosaic style quilt the graphics are cut in various sizes.  Then they are placed in specific positions in your quilt design to allow the viewer to better notice and appreciate each and every graphic. We spend a great deal of time designing your quilt.  We feel that each and every quilt should be unique, and we promise you will not be disappointed.

As part of our process, we allow you to SEE the layout BEFORE we make the first stitch.  THAT'S RIGHT, YOU SEE WHAT YOUR QUILT WILL LOOK LIKE, BEFORE WE SEW IT!  We will cut your graphics and design your quilt, take a picture and send it to you for you to approve the design, and then, and only then, we will take the pieces and sew them together.  

 

If you are not happy with the layout we send, we will design another layout for you. This ensures that you know what your t-shirt quilt will look like before we start. This extra step, while very time consuming, is important to us!  WE WANT YOU TO BE 100% SATISFIED WITH YOUR T-SHIRT QUILT. We challenge you to find a company out there that takes this extra step! After completing your quilt, we will let you know it's finished and send you a picture.  We will keep your quilt safe until we receive your full payment.  Your quilt can be shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) or United States Postal Service (USPS). Shipping charges will be added to the price of your quilt.  We require delivery confirmation (signature required) for our insurance and also to protect your beautiful quilt.
